The suspect who pleaded guilty to the crime disclosed that he committed the offense with three of his friends, Friday Adejoh, Sunday Abah and Simon Moses who is currently on the run.

He stated that he abducted himself because his friend Simon Moses needed transport fare to go back to Kogi state, which made him to liaise with his friends, Friday Adejoh and Sunday Abah.

“I was the one who was to collect the ransom, but the phone his boss was calling went off, so, I don’t know who collected the #200,000 ransom.”
