The Police Operatives in Osun State has apprehended 28-yr-old vulcanizer and self-acclaimed herbalist, Ismail Adewuyi, a fake pastor and an Islamic cleric for possession of a freshly-cut woman’s head and intestines in Ede area of the state.
According to the spokesperson of the police command, SP Yemisi Opalola, the suspected ritualist was arrested by one Isa Usman, a member of the Nigerian Hunters Association, who took him to the police.
She added that Adewuyi was arrested by the hunter around a cemetery, while the Police had commenced interrogating the suspect.
According to a source who craved anonymity, reports that, “He attended the burial ceremony of the woman’s corpse he exhumed last week. We heard he has been doing this four years. A fake pastor and an Islamic cleric were arrested too in connection with the case.”
