The Ogun State Police operatives have arrested a couple identified as Taiwo Olutufese Ajalorun, Salawa Oyenusi Ajalorun and six others for kidnapping, killing and dismembering a 26-year-old mother-of-two, Oyindamola Adeyemi.

In a statement by the Spokesperson of the command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspects were apprehended following a report by a neighbour of the deceased ,Ojo Omolara, who said Oyindamola left home on the morning of Wednesday, December 28, 2022, but didn’t return home while her phone was switched off.

Following the report, patrol team from Obalende division discovered a dismembered body of a lady by the road side and was taken to a morgue.

However, one of the mortuary workers who knew about the missing person called the family to verify the body brought by the police.

On their arrival, the deceased friend, Omolara was able to identify it through the brassiere and underwear she put on because her head was already chopped off.

However, further investigation led to the arrest of a herbalist, Taiwo Olutufese Ajalorun, who possessed the Deceased’s Itel phone.

A search warrant was duly executed in his house where a container full of human blood, later discovered to be Oyindamola’s was recovered.

The names of other suspects include Lukman Oladele, Kayode Ibrahim, Bello Akeem, Alebiosu Adebayo, Fatai Rasheed and Fatai Jimoh.
