Heavy security has been mounted at the Court of Appeal Headquarters in Abuja, where the Presidential Election Petition judgment will be delivered.
The judgement is to be delivered by the Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Haruna Tsammani, assisted by other members of the panel-Justices Stephen Adah, Monsurat Bolaji-Yusuf, Moses Ugo, and Abba Mohammed.
Petitions were filed against President Bola Tinubu by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and Peter Obi of Labour Party(LP) over dissatisfaction of the Presidential outcome of the election of February 25,2023.
NEWSTODAYNG recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission had declared President Bola Tinubu winner of the election with a total vote of 8,794,726 to defeat the two major opponents, Alhaji Atiku of the PDP, who had a total of 6,984,520 votes, and Peter Obi of the LP, who had a total of 6,101,533 votes.
