endorses President, Oyebanji for second term

 

A stalwart of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Prince Adeolu Tinubu has hailed President Bola Tinubu over the appointment of Lt. Gen. Olufemi Oluyede as the new Chief of Army Staff.

Tinubu, a member of 2023 APC Presidential Campaign Committee in Southwest, stated this while receiving a distinguished award from the Olufaki of Ifaki, Oba Adegbento Falore, at his palace in Ifaki-Ekiti.

He described Oluyede’s appointment as a round peg in a round hole, while also exuding confidence in him to prove his mettle in beefing up the security of the country.

His words, “I want to use this opportunity to thank His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu for the right choice of new Army Chief of Army, it’s a round peg in a round hole.

“I have strong belief that he’s going to prove his mettle in the security sector of the country.

“I also want thank him for taking the magnanimous action in appointing Lt. Gen. Olufemi Oluyede to beef up the security in the country.

“We believe that Tinubu meant well for Nigeria and I hereby pledge to support him for second term.

“I want implore all governors to compliment Tinubu’s physical and economic policies so that Nigerians can reap the dividends of the democracy”. He said

He also endorsed the Governor of Ekiti state, Biodun Oyebanji, for second term, saying continuity and sustainability of governance is the only pathway for meaning development in Ekiti.

“I supported BAO in the first term and I’m supporting him for second term because continuity and sustainability of governance is the only way to experience meaningful development in Ekiti”.
