NEWSTODAYNG gathered that the protesters converged on the frontage of Eleruwa Palace located at Oke Oba in the town to express their grievances.

It was observed that the protesters used tyres to make a bornfire to create an awareness.

According to an eye witness who craved anonymity, the youths called on the governor of the state, Seyi Makinde to investigate the story making round that  the dethroned Eleruwa , Samuel Adegbola from Akalako rulling house had been picked by King makers and submitted to the state government for approval.

It would the be recalled that the process of picking new Elewura began last week Monday when the Chairman of the Ibarapa East Local Government, Kazeem Arogundade  allegedly presented a list of candidates from Akalako family to the king makers  without  the  input of the  other rulling house, Laribikusi.
