Controversial Nigerian actress, Lizzy Anjorin, has spoken out in a detailed video, refuting allegations of using a fake transfer to purchase gold jewellery.

The actress addressed the incident where she was purportedly mocked by shopkeepers on Lagos Island for allegedly making a fake payment.

In her video, Lizzy Anjorin explained that she had contacted her husband to transfer N91,000 to the seller’s account for clothing accessories purchased from a business in Idumota Market.

Initially, the shop owner claimed not to have received the payment, but later acknowledged its receipt.

However, upon returning to the store, the businessman informed Lizzy Anjorin that the previous transaction’s money had not been received.

In response, she promptly called her husband to transfer an additional N100,000 to the seller’s account while they sorted out the issue with the bank.

According to Lizzy Anjorin, the situation escalated when the shop owner gathered people who threatened her and forcibly removed her hijab.

She asserted that she had evidence of her conversation and debit alert receipt, which she shared to substantiate her claims.
