A staff of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) has been reportedly hospitalized after he was allegedly attacked by the youth of Ugbiyoko community in Benin City, Edo State.
According report, the young man was attacked and his two legs were broken while he was trying to restore line breaker in the community on Monday, January 23, 2023.
Investigations revealed that the youth were angered by the fact that the community has been in total darkness for over a month.
In a video recorded shortly after the attack, two other staff of PHCN were also held hostage by the angry youth.
