A seasoned Journalist in Ekiti and Ondo States, Fisoye Adenitan on Saturday buried her mother, Late Dorcas Abosede Areola in Odo-Ayedun, Ikole Local Government area of Ekiti.
The deceased, who died at the age of 65, was a native of Owo, Ondo state.
The burial service, which was attended by well-meaning individuals across and outside the state was performed in Methodist Church, Odo-Ayedun Ekiti.
In his sermon, Reverend Akin Akinlade described the deceased as a true follower of God, who dedicated her life to the progress and development of the Church and mankind.
He noted that she served God diligently through her services as an Usher and a Chorister.
He added that her lifestyle was emulating, because she was a prayer warrior, who lived a life of struggle.
The daughter, Fisoye Adenitan is a Journalist of Radio Nigeria, Ekiti and Positive FM, Akure.
Personalities at the burial ceremony include: Comrade Kayode Babatuyi, Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State council, former Chairman of the state council, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela, General Manager of Radio Nigeria, Dr. Adebola Agbaje (PhD), among others.
