An Ogun State-owned security outfit, So-Safe Corps, has apprehended a 32-year-old member of Eye Confraternity, Ojo Fagbenro for allegedly robbing traders and hijacking motorbikes in the State.

The Public Relations of the Corps, Moruf Yusuf said that the suspect was arrested while attempting to rob the well-meaning citizens selling phone accessories on the bridge at Abule Ekun, Giwa, along Ijoko Road in Ifo Local Government Area.

NEWSTODAYNG gathered during a preliminary investigation that the suspect confessed to the crime and claimed to be the number 3 of the deadly Eye confraternity in the area.

Ojo also confessed to being part of the group that allegedly killed one Gabriel Frank on Monday, 14th November 2022 at Iju-Ishaga.

The PRO of the Corps listed items recovered from the suspect to include one locally made pistol, charms and a small bag.

Meanwhile, Ojo has been handed over to Ajuwon Police Divisional Headquarters for further investigation.
