Senator Fasuyi pays thank you visit to Ekiti Monarchs

The Senator representing Ekiti North District, Cyril Fasuyi has paid a thank you visit to the traditional rulers council of Oye Local Government.

Senator Fasuyi was accompanied by APC Elders Caucus, Local Govt APC party Chairman and Women leaders, Executive Chairmen of Local govt and LCDAs.

The meeting, while was held at Onisan of Isan Kingdom palace had all the fifteen Obas of the council in attendance.

While briefing the Kabiyesis of his activities in the red chambers on assumption of duties less than two months, the Senator thanked the Monarchs for their unwavering support at the poll.

He pledged to always revert home to drink from the well of wisdoms of the Kabiyesis to guide his actions and as well prioritize their welfare.

In his response, Kabiyesi Onimojo, Attah Ayede, Onisan, Oloye and others appreciated the unprecedented visit of the Senator, describing it as first of its kind in the history of the district.

They admonished the Senator not to relent on his good deeds and connection with the grassroots.

While urging the Senator to discuss with the Government about their welfare and the challenges faced by the royal fathers occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy, they tasked the government to intensify efforts on security to permanently nip the nefarious activities of kidnappers and bandits.

In attendance were Onisan of Isan Ekiti, Oloye of Oye Ekiti, Attah of Ayede Ekiti, Onitaji of Itaji Ekiti, Onire of Ire Ekiti, Apeju of Ilupeju Ekiti and others.
