Ekiti State has refused to impress Economists in the Country as it is ranked lowest by the Internally Generated Revenue of 2021 with N13.6bn.

NEWSTODAYNG gathered that Internal Growth Rate(IGR) is the zenith of growth level achievable without obtaining external financing, which is also the level of business operations that can grow states without issuing new equity or debt.

Ekiti is followed by Osun with N.21.9bn, Kwara State with N26.9bn, Oyo State with N52.1bn, Ogun State with N100.7bn, while Lagos State has the highest in the region and country with N754.3bn.

South-west has the highest IGR among the regions with N972.6bn, followed by South-south with N313.6bn, North-central with N253.2bn, Northwest with N174.4bn, Southeast with N103.7bn and Northeast with N78.3bn.
