…as English marksman seeks move for silverware
Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane, could reportedly earn a club-record £400,000-per-week wages at Tottenham Hotspur should he commit his future to the North London club.
This is according to reports emanating from Uk-based news outlets. It is speculated that Tottenham Hotspur are desperately preparing the deal to ward off other clubs interest in their marksman whose current contract expires at the end of 2023-2024 season.
However, the 29-year-old English striker who has consistently proven himself as world-class goal poacher at his current club is unwilling to put pen as he seeks a move away from the club that last had their hand on a piece of major silverware in 2007/2008 EPL season.
Bayern Munich are reportedly believed to have made two bids to show their interest in the striker, both of which have been rejected by Spurs, whose Chairman Daniel Levy insists that Kane is not for sale this summer.
Kane is expected to hold face-to-face talks with the club management next week to finalise his decision over his future. Reports indicate that Kane prioritises club project over the huge financial incentives Spurs is offering.
