Senator Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta Stage has lauded the Indigenous Contractors who handled the construction work of Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, slated for the ongoing National Sport Festival.

The Managing Director of Peculiar Ultimate Concern (the Company that handled the Stadium), Engineer Lanre Adeleke commended the Governor for his vision of putting together such internationally reputable infrastructure which would not just serve Delta State, but the entire country.



He affirmed to the host Governor while touring the facility, that the stadium would stand the test of time.

He also maintained that the stadium work was handled consciously to further prove that indigenous contractors had capacity to deliver world standard project, using best global standard practices.



Speaking with journalists separately, the athletes equally expressed satisfaction with the standard of facilities and the pattern of construction.

According to them, the facility in the stadium would compete with anyone in the world.

They equally commended Government for employing the best hand to handle the construction, imploring other states to emulate such.
