Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen will reportedly consider a four-year contract with Saudi Arabian club, Al Ahli.

Napoli, Osimhen’s current club, is set to earn £67.3 million (€80 million) plus add-ons from the transaction.

Osimhen had previously been linked with a move to Chelsea, with rumors claiming he had agreed to join the club on a €350,000 monthly salary.

However, it looks that Osimhen has changed his mind and wishes to join Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League.

Osimhen’s representative, Roberto Calenda, has indicated that his client has no interest in joining the Saudi Pro League, but this latest development implies otherwise.

Chelsea had hoped to sign Osimhen as a substitute for Romelu Lukaku, who is expected to join Napoli.

However, Osimhen’s choice to join Al Ahli means Chelsea will have to hunt elsewhere for a new striker.

It’s worth mentioning that Osimhen’s move to Al Ahli has yet to be announced, and there could be more developments in the transfer story but it appears that Osimhen is set to join Al Ahli for €65 million.
