President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the immediate former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on his 59th birthday.
Fayemi is also a former minister of Solid Minerals Development and holds the national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), and a recipient of many other awards.
Tinubu, in a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, described Fayemi as “a leader of defining hallmarks, the former Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, demonstrated notable leadership both in government and as a pro-democracy advocate of many years.”
He equally commended his dedication to service and dogged pursuit of knowledge and the common good.
