Tragedy struck in Kano State as Chief Superintendent Abdullahi Abdulwahab Magaji of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) reportedly took his own life.
The incident, which occurred at his residence in Farm Centre Quarters, Kano shocked many, leaving questions unanswered regarding the motive behind the action.
Magaji, who was stationed at the NCS headquarters in Abuja, allegedly used a pump-action gun to end his life. At present, the reasons behind his decision remain undisclosed, adding to the mystery surrounding the tragic event.
Confirming the incident, Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Abdullahi Kiyawa, stated that the command had initiated a full-scale investigation into the matter. The aim is to uncover the circumstances leading to the suicide of the Customs officer and provide closure to his family and colleagues.
