Road Transport union leaders in Ekiti state which include National Union of Road Transport Worker(NURTW), Road Transport Employer Association of Nigeria(RTEAN) and Ekiti Okada Rider on Friday paid a solidarity visit to the Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr(Mrs) Habibat Omolara Adubiaro at her office.
The union leaders who pledged their support to the Biodun Oyebanji administration congratulated Dr. Adubiaro on her appointment as Ekiti SSG and wished her a peaceful and successful tenure.
The SSG thanked the union leaders for their visit urging them to give the new administration of Biodun Oyebanji total support.
In her words: “I am extremely grateful for deeming it fit to pay me this courtesy call. And let me also use this opportunity to thank you for your support for our party in the June 18 election.
“I want to urge you to throw your full weight behind this new administration. Remain united and refrain from any act that is capable of disturbing public peace.”
