…withdraws suit against Assembly

The Ekiti State House of Assembly has lifted the suspension of two suspended members of the House, Hon. Tajudeen Akingbolu and Hon. Adegoke Olajide, who have signified intent to return to their legislative duties.
The suspension of the two honourable members was lifted on Thursday after the consideration by the leadership of the house. The notice of discontinuance of their suit filed before an Ekiti State High Court challenging their suspension alongside five other lawmakers was submitted.
Hon. Akingbolu who represents Ekiti West Constituency 1 and Hon. Olajide who represents Efon Constituency had filed a Notice of Discontinuance of the suit thereby officially informing the House that they are no longer Claimants in the suit.
