The Gambians have qualified for their first ever U-20 African Cup of Nations Final after defeating Flying Eagles by one goal to nil today.
The early goal in the 7th minute by Adama Bojang gave the Gambians a stronger edge, resisting challenging attempts from the losing Team while they also fought for more goals.
Flying Eagles were awarded a penalty in the 89th minutes after a rough tackle by the Gambian Player but was missed by the 19-year-old Abdullahi.
However, Flying Eagles will play Tunisia in the third-place tie after they were defeated by Senegal.
