Napoli manager, Luciano Spalletti has expressed his happiness over Victor Osimhen’s return from injury sustained since September 8.
Osimhen, who sustained an injury in Napoli’s UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool, will feature in today’s UEFA Champions League clash against Ajax.
The Nigeria international has missed Napoli’s last six games across all competitions following the setback.
The 23-year-old trained with his teammates on Monday for the first time since he sustained the injury.
Spalletti confirmed that the striker is in good shape ahead of the Champions League clash.
According to Spalletti, “Victor is strength of our team because he is a top player. He is working well and is ready to give his contribution.”
“For us Osimhen has to become another leader of this team. We are lucky because we have three forward with different characteristics that together make up the totality of the qualities that complete the department.”
