The President-Elect ,Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday declared that the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable.

Tinubu stated this during the grand finale of the Magistrates’ Court Complex commissioning on Thursday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to him, “we must fight corruption and judges must not work in hazardous condition if we want dispensation of justice in this country.

“You don’t expect your judges that has been contributing positively to live in squarylium, operate in squarylium and dispense justice in squarylium.

“If you don’t want your judges to be corrupt, you got to pay attention to thier welfare.”

While reiterating the importance of unity in Nigeria, he noted that Citizens must co-exist for the achievement of cooperation and mutuality.

“We must tolerate one another, live together because we are on the same platform.

“We have to change the culture of maintenance and must fight against poverty in all sense”.3

Tinubu also expressed gratitude to the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike for the commissioning of the twelve historic and iconic flyovers in the state.

He therefore enjoined the outgoing Governor to fulfill all political promises he had made to the people of Rivers State before passing the baton to his Successor.
