A number of unknown gunmen this morning attacked the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC headquarters office in Owerri, Imo State.
NEWSTODAYNG learnt that the attack, which occurred at Imo INEC headquarters, led to the death of at least three suspects while one was captured alive.
The gunmen, who invaded the facility in large numbers, were reportedly repelled by officers of the Nigeria Police Force and other security operatives in the area.
When contacted, the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, Michael Abattam, promised to revert.
