Students of the Ondo State School for the Visually Impaired Owo, Ondo-State, have called for the intervention of the state Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa over the inhumane act of their Head Teacher, Taiwo Makinde who always subject them to hard labour by cutting grasses.

Speaking with journalists, the students lamented over the unbearable agony, thereby calling for the intervention of the State Government and other well meaning Nigerians.

According to them, the Head Teacher, Mrs Makinde and other staff members usually maltreat and stigmatize them with abusive words at every slightest provocation, and direct them to cut grass not minding their condition.

The students also alleged that the school lacked conducive environment and necessary facilities adding that they serve them any how food.

The students alleged that they have submitted petitions to several offices including Office of the Deputy Governor of Ondo State but nothing seems to have been done to stop the wicked act against them.

However, efforts to speak with the Head Teacher, Mrs Makinde proved abortive  as her line was off and she didn’t reply to messages as at the press time of filing this report.
