Sam Adeoye, Pastor Golden City Assembly International has revealed reasons Isaac Oyedepo dumped Living Faith ministry.
He made this known via his social media handle, explaining that Isaac Oyedepo and his father David Oyedepo shared different idealities.
According to him, Isaac Oyedepo was different from the rest of David Oyedepo’s children, noting that he was very generous and despises prosperity teachings.
In his post, “First, I take full responsibility for the post I made earlier regarding the resignation of Pastor Isaac Oyedepo from the Living Faith Church and I’m not going to delete or edit it.
“When I said in that post that there was more to this, many people thought I didn’t know what I was saying or I was judging and condemning his actions. I’m not and I made it clear both from the beginning and the end of the post that I do not doubt his calling or decision. But the timing.
“What you’re about to read here are the many things about Isaac Oyedepo that many people did not know, some of which are major issues between him and his father, Bishop David Oyedepo.
“For your information, Bishop David Oyedepo is a Man I respect so much any time, any day and this has nothing to do with attacking his person. This is just to clear the air on some issues and let the living live.
“Isaac had always wanted this to be different, and he was different from the rest of the rest of the children. No wonder Kenneth Copeland laid hands on him and him alone among all the children and deposited himself in him.
“For those who knew him when he was pastoring Sunny Vale Locogoma Branch in Abuja, I believe they can testify to the fact that he is a person who reached out to people, was very generous, always giving, sponsored marriages, and changed a lot of lives.
“Well, as soon as the father found out about his good deeds, he was instantly taken out and transferred to another place.
“Isaac Oyedepo has always been against this church shenanigans and he was against the removal of the Pastor who took over from him when he left the Sunny Vale Locogoma Branch.
“Isaac has a mind of his own, is very approachable, and always stands against his father. He was always vocal about the church having so much wealth and the members not benefiting.
“If he knows you are in a relationship with a Lady for over a year, he will call you immediately and ask why, if it’s money he will set you up and give you funds in millions.
“He is not into prosperity stuff and people love him, you can’t know him one and one and not love him.
He added that “Bishop David Abioye is Isaac Oyedepo’s spiritual father; what an irony.
“I believe in his calling and whatever God has assigned him to do, and I believe so much that he will excel in ministry. But at the same time, why hang around in a place where you are caged and not allowed to be yourself? Why stay in a place where you are tolerated and not celebrated?
“I want to believe that this will mark the beginning of a new era in the church system. It is well with us all.” He stated.
