A lawyer, Barr. Muna, has taken to social media to educate married folks, saying the law does not recognize them as one.
According to her, there’s nothing as Mr and Mrs in law.
She said when going into an agreement as a couple, it is best to make it tripartite and spell out their names in full.
Confirming this, NEWSTODAY reporter spoke with Barr. Chinenye, a practicing lawyer in Calabar who confirmed this while stressing on the need for women to be enlightened on issues concerning them.
