The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has assured Corps members in the state of success and personal growth.

The Governor, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Youth and Sport, Bamidele Ariwosola, gave the assurance at the swearing-in ceremony of the 2023 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps Members, NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ise-Orun/Emure Ekiti State.

Delivering his address, the Governor appreciated the collective roles of Corps members at state and national levels, highlighting their efforts during election duty, population census and immunisation.

He equally eulogised them for being combatants of malaria, HIV/AIDS scourge, drug abuse, human trafficking, corruption and illiteracy through their constant campaigns and sensitizations.

He therefore enjoined the newly sworn-in 2023 corps members to see the service year as a call for dedication, perseverance, humility and service to humanity.

In a similar vein, the State Coordinator NYSC Ekiti State, Alhaji Riko Abdullahi Shuaibu while delivering his welcome address tasked the Corps members to replicate and surpass the achievements of their predecessors and leave positive remarkable landmarks in Ekiti State through selfless and active participation in developmental activities.

He warned them against indulging in social vices such as cultism, gambling, drunkenness and other immoral acts.
