The Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela has called on the Journalists in the state to be moderate in their rejoice as they celebrate another yuletide festivities.

Ojomoyela, in a statement in Ado Ekiti, felicitates with every Journalists, head of stations, Executives of the Council and all stakeholders in the media industry.

According to him, Christmas portrays the starting point of hope, hence prayed God to grant Journalists new story as they forge ahead into 2023.

Ojomoyela thereby pleaded Journalists to celebrate to observe all necessary public health protocols as they meet new people during the festive season.

The statement reads, “The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council has rejoiced with Journalists in the state over the grace of God that preserved their lives to witness another Christmas.

“Chairman of the Union, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela congratulated every Journalist, head of stations, Executives of NUJ and all stakeholders in the media industry.

“According to him, Christmas symbolises new beginning and hope, hence he prayed God to grant Journalists new story as they forge ahead into 2023.

“Comrade Ojomoyela appealed to Journalists to celebrate the Christmas with modesty and observe all necessary public health protocols as they meet new people during the festive season.

“He restated the commitment of the union to the welfare of members and protection of their rights without compromise.”
