Men of the Lagos state on Sunday arrested an 18-year-old man for allegedly being in possession of a locally fabricated firearm and two stolen phones.
The spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident in a statement on his Twitter handle said that the young man was apprehended during a stop and search exercise carried out by patrol team from the Layeni division.
Hundeyin also revealed that officers from Orile Division stopped a 34-year-old David at School Bus-stop, searched him and found a locally fabricated firearm and two live cartridges.
