Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has settled the outstanding medical bills of the two patients, Mojisola Olarewaju and Abosede Alofe, stranded at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.

NEWSTODAYNG recalled that the patients were held back at the Hospital few months ago over unpaid medical bills after successful surgeries.

One of the patients, Olarewaju had her two legs amputated in order to save her life while Alofe who had spent one year in the hospital also had a surgery in her leg.

During a visit to the patients where the money for the medical bill was paid, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Community Communications, Mary Omotosho sympathised with the patients.

Oyebanji urged them to keep hope alive and have faith in God who has the power to change every situation.

The beneficiaries and their family members heaved a sigh of relief amd burst into tears as they appreciated the Governor for his kind gesture.
