The senator representing Ekiti South at the National Assembly, Biodun Olujimi, said Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State did not influence her victory in court during the legal battle with Senator Dayo Adeyeye.

Olujimi, who denied the allegations as one of the panelists at the valedictory event to mark the end of Fayemi’s administration on Tuesday, in Ado-Ekiti, said he fought gallantry for the candidate of his party.

She described Fayemi as a decent human being who abhors injustice noting that he worked tirelessly for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Her words: “Governor Fayemi played no role to help me at all. He fought gallantly for the candidate of his party, he only accepted the outcome in good faith when he realized he could do nothing about the outcome.

”Fayemi is essentially a decent human being, a man who abhors injustice. So those who accused him of being a closet Olujimi supporter, do not know him. He worked tirelessly for the candidate of the APC during this legal battle and only stopped when he realized the reality of the result.”
