The fist Lady of Ekiti State, Dr Olayemi Abiodun-Oyebanji has gifted cash and food items to about two hundred widows selected across all the local government areas of Ekiti State.
The first Lady, who expressed concern for the plight of the widows, stated her office was working on a pet project that would further care for them.
She noted that the gift items were a tip of what the widows would receive later, adding that it was in continuation of what the former first lady, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, did while in office.
The beneficiaries appreciated her for reaching out to them and prayed God to reward her.
