Some unknown Gunmen have attacked an 18-seater bus, abducting unspecified number of travelers on Ikare- Irun Akoko -Ado Ekiti highway in Ondo state.
According to reports, the incident occured at Irun Akoko/ Imesi Ekiti axis of the road on Saturday’s evening.
It was learnt that the abducted victims are from Irun akoko, Ikare akoko and Ekiti communities.
A source at Irun Akoko confirmed that Police men, Soldiers and Amotekun Corps officers from Ekiti and Ondo states with the cooperation of Local Vigilantes are currently combing the forests to rescue the victims.
However, the Ondo State Police command is yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing in this report.
