In a recent verdict, the appellate court in Lagos has affirmed Barrister Peter Mbah as the Governor of Enugu State.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that, the three-man panel upheld the decision of the Enugu Tribunal, led by Hon. Justice K.M. Akano, which had earlier confirmed Mbah’s election on September 9, 2023.
The case was filed by Barr Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party (LP). The appellate court resolved all three issues raised in the appeal in favour Peter Mbah, who contested under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The decision of the appellate court solidifies the outcome of the gubernatorial election in Enugu State, marking another legal victory for the Governor.
