The Ekiti State Football Team will begin their title defense in the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Director General’s, DG’s, cup.
The defending champions of the prestigious football competition will kick start their defense in Abuja, on Monday.
Head Coach of the side, Kehinde Anjorin, told reporters in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday evening that his side are ready to defend the title.
His words: “We played some tune up games to mentally and physically prepare and keep the boys in shape for the task ahead.
“We played two friendly matches against Ajaiye FC which we won 2-0 and a 2-2 with CFC Football Academy respectively.”
The DG’s Cup will run from 18-23rd September, 2022.
