It was an atmosphere filled with excitement as Community Development Service, CDS, group leaders, under the aegis of Forum of CDS Presidents’ and Vice-Presidents’ in Ado-Ekiti, on Thursday, donated office equipments to the scheme’s annex office at Ekiti Parapo Pavilion.
The low key ceremony had in attendance leaders from the 19 CDS groups in Ado-Ekiti and the NYSC Zonal Inspector in Ado-Ekiti, Mrs Fumilayo G.O, who received the donation on behalf of the state coordinator, Mrs. Mary Nenna Chikezie.
Receiving the equipments, Mrs Fumilayo appreciated the leaders for the kind gesture noting that it has showcased them as impeccable leaders, who have brought to bare the contents of the CDS.
Earlier in his opening remark, the Corps Liason Officer, CLO, Kehinde Alabi, on behalf of the leaders said they were spurred by the level of dedication of members of staff which paved the way to contribute their quota to the success of the scheme.
Also in attendance were the Local Government Inspector, LGI, Ado-Ekiti, Mr. Bolaji H.B, the Assistant LGI, Mr. Akinwunmi, and other members of staff.
