In a grim discovery on Sunday, the body of a young man in his early 20s was found on a refuse dump in Makurdi, the capital of Benue state.

The incident unfolded in the vicinity of Iorpuu Adai Street, Nyiman Layout, HUDCO quarters, in Makurdi. The victim, identified as a person of dark complexion, had one ear missing, suggesting the brutality of the assault he endured.
His assailants had callously placed his lifeless body in a sack before dumping it on the refuse dump.
