Students of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) on Wednesday occupied and set barricades at the entrance of the institution in protest against a proposed increase in the price of transport by the in-campus cab drivers, popularly known as Akoto, from N200 to N300.
The peaceful protest which began early hours of today caused a traffic jam for motorist, as others were held up on the road leading to and from Ado-Ekiti.
