Atalanta Coach, Gian Gasperini was impressed with Ademola Lookman’s performance as he played a significant role in helping his club to record a 2-0 win over hosts, Monza in Italian Serie A encounter.

It was a challenging match for Ademola Lookman and his teammates, but they made sure the second half got them the maximum three points.

Monza players started the encounter aggressively trying to find the back of the net in the early minutes, but all their efforts were futile as the first half ended goalless.

Lookman provided the assist that helped Atalanta to score their first goal in the 57th minute through Rasmus Hojlund, while in the 65th minute, Marlon Santos da Silva Barbosa scored an own goal to give Atalanta a 2-0 win in the Serie A game.

Atalanta coach said, “Atalanta have never been on top of the table alone, the lads deserve the praise, it’s a nice thing for us and our fans. We’ll try to make it last as much as possible.”
