The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the commencement of Pharmacy programme in Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti with effect from the 2024/2025 academic session.
This was contained in a statement signed and made available to journalists by the Institution’s Deputy Registrar/ Head, Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs, Bode Olofinmuagun.
The statement continues, “In a letter dated 19th December, 2024 addressed to the Vice Chancellor and signed by Abubakar Girei, Acting Director, Academic Planning, on behalf of the Acting Executive Secretary of the Commission, the Commission approved the establishment of the *full time mode* of Doctor of Pharmacy for Ekiti State University.
“With this approval, the university is expected to kick start the process of admitting pioneer students into the Faculty of Pharmacy”.
