Nigerian International, Victor Osimhen has again set another record as he broke George Weah’s goal scoring records in Napoli’s home win on Sunday to become the highest scoring African in Serie A.

Osimhen scored a penalty at the 74′ minute of play, having previously lost spot kick at the 48′ minutes which makes him to break Weah’s record, having a total of 47 Serie A goals in his third season, over Weah’s 46 goals.

Napoli forward, who now has 22 goals this season for Napoli FC, after the match said, “I think the curse is about to be broken, we still have four games to go and I want to get as many goals as possible, while winning the games.”

About wearing a new different mask, he said β€œIt’s a special mask, the Scudetto and of course I represent my country wherever I play and VO9 is my symbol, so I have the Nigerian flag there. I will keep this one forever”, Osimhen concluded.
